This painting workshop offers a space of experimental painting research around the colour blue with pigments and acrylics on various grounds. We will explore the wide palette of blues from the palest horizon blues to the deepest ultramarines and indigo. Blue can be the bridge from darkness to light. Once situated in the soul mood of the blue the questions of its movement and form potential can inspire our painterly compositions.
Art history, drawing and experimenting with some simple printing techniques will accompany the work.
